What we need to know about where it is parked
Half the jobs that go wrong go wrong on access, not on the vehicle. A minute on the phone saves a wasted trip for both of us, so tell us which of these applies:
- A driveway or garage. The straightforward one. Let us know if the car is boxed in behind another vehicle.
- An apartment or condo lot. Tell us if there is a height barrier at the entrance, and whether the building needs notice before a truck comes in.
- Street parking. Fine on most London streets. Narrow side streets and winter snow routes are worth flagging.
- Grass, mud or a farm laneway. Possible, but the ground has to hold a loaded flatbed. Tell us and we will pick our moment.
- Behind a shop or in a yard. Let us know the gate hours and whether we need to check in with anyone.
